Excerpt from Chapter Two – The Advantages of A Soul Winner – of the book The Effective Soul Winner from Prophet Uebert Angel
Everything God instructs us to do is an advantage for us, and some things carry more benefits than others. Soul winning is one of them. I want us to take a look at Luke Chapter 10, because there are some benefits in it that every effective soul winner needs to be aware of. But to get those benefits, we must first respond to a pertinent request from God.
God’s Prayer Request
Luke chapter 10 is the account of Jesus sending His disciples out into the fields on their first soul-winning mission. There is something i want you to see in verse 2, but we’ll read verse 1 for context.
Luke 10:1-2
After these things, the Lord appointed other seventy also, and sent them two and two before his face into every city and place, whither he himself would come. Therefore said he unto them, the harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest
Notice what Jesus says in verse 2:
“The harvest is truly great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest.”
God does not often make prayer requests, but this is one of them. Now, when God makes a prayer request, it means He is revealing the desire of His own heart to you and giving you the opportunity to partner with Him in fulfilling His purpose on the Earth.
